I'm tentatively back from my involuntary hiatus. Yay I guess! We're almost completely moved in now, just a few things left in the old apartment. We need to hurry our asses up and finish clearing that place out. Today I spackled my little heart out in preparation of painting, which we'll tackle this week. Between moving, unexpected family issues, and my fluctuating depression (my failure to get a job is really upsetting me), I haven't had the time or attention for online stuff.

Worked on "Fine Art" a bit, worked on "Diving for Pearls" a little bit, haven't touched any Yuma fics, and have a good portion of a Malon/Ganondorf story for fanfic100 at LJ completed. I'm stoked about the latter; I just finished the first two parts of The Orphan's Tale, and the amazing prose and fantastic stories have really inspired me. And made me insanely jealous. If anyone on my FL is interested in fantasy, mythology, or feminism, I highly, highly recommend this and its sequel. I'm not articulate enough to give the books the praise they deserve.

The upcoming Warcraft expansion, Wrath of the Lich King, has also been rousing my muses. In college, I was a massive WoW dork, but after graduating and getting a job, I didn't have the patience to put in the required hours. It was more like an assignment than a game. But I loved the Taurens and the new faction, the Taunka, makes my inner fangirl squee.

Gah... [info]porn_battle... I want to participate, but I don't know if I'll be able. Woes.

You definitely should! It's weird, but in a good way.

I was hoping things were OK with you. Here I am, giving you the patented Richard Gere "Think Good Thoughts' Vibe. ~~~~~~~~~~~~> Yayforjae

I hope you not only find a job, but it is a great job.
